Over two years now, one question windsornygaslease.com first asked of the NYDEC, State, and Federal governments was why is the percentage of royalty for New York landowners remaining at the out dated 12.5 %? We sought to write the government entities to adjust the royalty percentage to be fair & balanced - equal to the national averages that data demonstrates to be above 20 %. We have not yet to date received any responses to our inquiry. If you agree that the royalties should be evaluated and included while New York state is delaying natural gas drilling with the overhaul of the regulations, help get this message across to the governments. Common sense dictates that New York landowners, or any states landowners should receive a royalty based on the averages of the nation. Also the State and Federal governments should not be engaging in leasing land at the out dated 12.5% royalty standards. It's not good for citizens of the USA and it's not good for village, town, city, county, state, and federal governments.
windsornygaslease.com asked that consideration be given to New York citizens state wide for a special vote to have the natural gas drilling moratorium lifted (yes or no) instead of the NY economy being damaged by the no drilling moratorium.
